  • Same day bookings are not always available and cannot be booked online. If you’d like to find out if a same day booking is available for you just give us a call on (03) 9462 6888.

  • You can hire a bin from us for between 1 and 3 days. Drop off and pick up dates and times are arranged when you book your bin, if you really need the bin for an extended period of time just discuss that with us at the time of booking.

  • Payment is required upon the delivery of your bin. When we arrive to drop off you can pay us by cash or credit card. If you need to pay by electronic funds transfer (EFT), then you will need to make this payment before we deliver. Online payments are processed through PayPal where most credit cards are accepted.

  • The only additional fees we have are for mattresses and car tyres.

    • Car tyres are charged at $20.00 each
    • Mattresses are charged at $50.00 each, irrespective of size

  • For most shires if you place a bin onto Council Property like roads or a nature strip we are required to gain a Council Permit for where your property is located. When this is needed we arrange the permit on your behalf and carry out the insurance required. Each council has their own rates, you will need to contact our office on (03) 9462 6888 to find out more.

  • No. Darebin Bin Hire already has the appropriate Liability Insurance required by the councils to have your bin placed on council property.

  • Due to safety issues for transporting the bins, you are only allowed to fill a bin level to the height. You cannot fill the bin so that your rubbish is above the highest point of the bin. Any rubbish filled beyond that point must be removed and we cannot make any exceptions to this.

  • We accept most waste with the exemption of oil, tins of liquid paint, gas bottles, asbestos, chemical waste in solid, liquid or powder form including garden and household chemicals. Insulation must be bagged and labelled.

  • All Waste is taken to our Transfer Station where we sort as much as possible to minimise transfer to landfill. Some materials deemed non-recyclable will end up as landfill but everything else is recycled.
